We are taught that the Greeks were the founders of Western civilization. However, all the ancient Greeks said they learned everything the knew in Egypt -- the high center of learning in the ancient world.  The late Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, author of many books who was an associate professor at Rutgers University said a book of 1,000 pages could not list the names of all the Greeks who studied in Egypt. The ancient Greeks were unambiguous about their studies in Egypt. It was a mark of honor to have studied there.

Martin Bernal, author of Black Athena, says that in the "Ancient Model" of history was accepted in in Europe until the 1800s. In the "Ancient Model", the testimony of the ancient Greeks was accepted in which they reported that they had learned everything they knew from the Black Egyptians. Europeans accepted that the Greeks were first colonized by the Black Egyptians and in a later stage, were civilized by them. However, in the 1800s the fraudulent "Aryan Model" was introduced.n which is in place today. In that model, the Greeks are given credit for everything from philosophy (Socrates, Plato, Aristotle), to medicine (Hippocrates), to history (Herodotus), to math (Pythagorus), etc. In the "Aryan Model", the Egyptians are ignored -- and/or said not to have been Black.

From the sixth century B.C. therefore to the death of Aristotle (322 B.C.) the Greeks made the best of their chance to learn all they could about Egyptian culture; most students received instructions directly from the Egyptian Priests, but after the invasion by Alexander the Great, the Royal temples and libraries were plundered and pillaged, and Aristotle’s school converted the Library at Alexandria into a research center. There is no wonder then, that the production of the unusually large number of books ascribed to Aristotle has proved a physical impossibility, for any single man within a lifetime.”
