In The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, Malcolm Gladwell says:
"The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire....There are exceptional people out there who are capable of starting epidemics. All you have to do is find them....If you want to bring a fundamental change in people’s belief and behavior, you need to create a community around them, where those new beliefs can be practiced and expressed and nurtured.”
In the Third Dimensional Age of Pisces, dominated by the Left Brain, people in the West gave their power away to authorities (government, medical, religious, media). In the shift now to the Fifth Dimensional Age of Aquarius, Westerners are beginning to take their power back in many ways. This shift is reflected in spontaneous, grassroots movements that made organic food the fastest-growing segment of the food industry, alternative medicine more mainstream than allopathic medicine, and replaced TV news with internet news sources.
Reconciliation with Native America facilitates this shift to a more holistic world.
Gladwell says 3 types of people facilitate the Tipping Point: Connector, Maven, and Salesman. A person may play all 3 roles at different times or in different ways.
